Dear AFT Guild Members,
Just a friendly reminder that our next AFT Guild Union meeting will be held this Thursday, November 3rd beginning at 3:00pm at Grossmont College, in building 60, the Griffin Center (campus map), room 180 (south end of building). Due to the construction, it will be a bit trickier to navigate when you arrive. You can enter the campus on the east perimeter road, Grossmont College Dr., then enter the parking structure (Bldg. 56) which you will see on your left from the road and then after you park head south to where we will be meeting (Bldg. 60). Or, you can park in Lot 7 entering from the front of the campus and walk directly north, staying to the left of the construction, and head up the hill to Bldg. 60.
We will be continuing with our COVID precautions in order to gather this many people in one room:
1) All Guild members wishing to attend will need to show proof of vaccination and booster (if eligible for the booster) to be admitted.
2) Full masking will be required for the duration of the meeting. Acceptable masks are: a KF-94, KN-95, N-95 or a double layer surgical+cloth mask. We will have some KF-94 masks at the door if you need one.
We will also be having a Zoom webinar option where you will be able to listen to the meeting, ask questions in the chat, and vote.
Attached is the tentative agenda for this Thursday’s meeting. At this meeting we will be voting on:
- $5,000 Contribution to City of San Francisco Prop. O.
- $500 Contribution to four candidates for City College of San Francisco Board of Trustees
And we will have a first reading of a resolution on “Women, Life, Freedom” which is also attached.
