Dear AFT Guild Members,
Just a friendly reminder that our next Executive Council and Union meeting will be held this Thursday, October 2nd beginning at 3:00pm at City College, in the MS building which is on the corner of 16th and C Streets downtown. There is a parking structure in the building. We will meet in room MS-140.
We will also be having a Zoom webinar option where you will be able to listen in to the meeting.
Attached is the tentative agenda for this Thursday’s meeting. We will be voting on the following items:
a) Support of Prop. 50 and $20k Independent Expenditure
b) Resolution opposing AFT National’s partnership with AI Corporations.
c) Review of AFT Guild Anti-Harassment & Discrimination and Code of Conduct Policies
Please let me know if you have any items you would like to see added to the agenda.
After the meeting we will meet up for our “after party” at Punch Bowl Social, 1485 E St, San Diego, CA 92101. All Guild members are welcome to join us!
