Dear AFT Guild Union Members,
I hope 2024 has been off to a good start for all of you! Just a friendly reminder that our first AFT Guild Union meeting of this semester will be held this Thursday, February 1st beginning at 3:00pm at our North City Campus, 8355 Aero Dr., San Diego, 92123. There is ample parking in the parking structure adjacent to the building, on the south side. We will meet in rooms 101/102, next to the lobby at the main entrance.
We will also be having a Zoom webinar option where you will be able to listen to the meeting, ask questions in the chat, and vote. Click here for the Zoom link.
Attached is the tentative agenda for this Thursday’s meeting. We will be voting on the following items:
- Donation of $10,000 to Pillars of the Community in support of recent flood damage
- “March in March,” March 7th, Sacramento, $2,000 donation requested
- Endorsement of Adrián Arancibia for Sweetwater Union High School Board, Trustee Area 2

Lastly, our post-meeting get together will be held at: Societe Brewing Company 8262 Clairemont Mesa Blvd They have a taco truck available for food as well. Please join us if you can!
