Campus Equity Week comes to San Diego City College!

First, all week (10/27-10/30) there will be a Dia de Los Muertos ofrenda (altar) for Margaret Mary Vojtko in the Cafeteria. For those who don’t know, Mary Vojtko was a long-time adjunct at Duquesne university in Pennsylvania who passed away recently. Her situation made national headlines and brought much needed  media attention to the plight of adjuncts across the nation. Those wishing to honor her life are encouraged to bring objects that represent the life of an adjunct to place on her altar.

Then, Arnie Schoenberg, an adjunct at City College will be giving a lecture entitled, “Understanding Priority of Assignment.” The lecture will be on Wednesday, October 29 from noon-1:00 PM in D-121.
