Dear Colleagues,
For Fall 2011 Staff Development, AFT wants to help instructors better use the technology available in their classrooms to improve student learning and their evaluations. We are looking for presenters who can do the following: provide a powerpoint presentation of best practices for creating & using powerpoint presentations, how to find and use online teacher resources, some innovative ways of using the internet/you tube/social media in lecture classes, how to use document cameras, etc… The presentation will run about 1 ½ hours and will be presented at City College, Continuing Ed, and Grossmont College. If you are interested in presenting, please contact Lyn Neylon at lyn.neylon@gcccd.edu by May 18th, and we will work together to create a solid presentation to help our students and faculty.
