Dear Colleagues,
There is a need to support families who have just crossed the border seeking asylum, have been minimally processed by ICE, and have been released wearing ankle bracelets.
Donations needed include:
bananas
oranges
coffee supplies (grounds, creamer, sugar, disposable cups with lids)
Pedialite
Gatorade
power cords and power strips
trash bags
hand sanitizer
Spanish language books/resources
packages of underwear from toddler 2T up to adult (mostly women and children)
You can drop off any donations you might have at our AFT Union meeting tomorrow between 3:00-4:30 at Mesa College, MC-211, or with any of your AFT site representatives, or at the AFT Office, 3737 Camino del Rio S, Suite 410.
Any and all donations will be appreciated!
