Subject: RATIFIED: SDCCD Faculty – 2019 Economic Package

Dear SDCCD AFT Guild Faculty Members,
I am pleased to report that our economic package for 2019 which is detailed below was ratified with 95.7% (605) voting in favor of ratification, and 4.3% (27) voting against ratification. These new salary schedules and the other changes listed below will take effect on January 1, you will see these new amounts reflected in your January 31/February 10 paychecks.
These economic increases will be in addition to the previously union negotiated step advancement increases included on the attached salary schedules. 11 and 12 month tenured/tenure-track faculty will advance in step in January (reflected in your January 31 paycheck), 10 month tenured/tenure-track faculty will advance in step in February (reflected in your February 28 paycheck),adjunct faculty advance in step upon the completion of each 450 hours of service. If you are already on the last step of the salary schedule shown there are not presently any additional steps for you to advance to.
