Protecting Our Most Vulnerable Students in the New Year

Dear Colleagues,

In preparation for when the new federal administration takes office in January, on January 28th at 2:30pm we will be hosting a panel discussion on what steps we and our allies can take to protect our most vulnerable students.

SDCCD Chancellor Greg Smith, Alliance SD Executive Director Andrea Guerrero, ACLU Sr. Policy Advocate Felicia Gomez, and SD City Council President Sean Elo-Rivera will be our panelists.

We would like this to be an interactive experience, so if you have questions or concerns you would like to see the panel address, please provide that information here.

The presentation will take place at the Educational Cultural Complex (ECC), 4343 Ocean View Blvd. There is ample parking in the lot in front of the building. We will be convening inside, in the ECC foyer.

In Solidarity,
Jim
