Dear Colleagues,
See this story from the UT regarding the Guild’s contention that the GCCCD Board violated both the letter and intent of the Resource Allocation Formula by granting its two new Presidents $850/month salary increases outside of that dictated by the RAF formula.
In addition to our alleged legal violation, we also feel strongly about the moral and ethical violation of increasing the salary of two of the top paid administrators in the District while hundreds of our employees barely make ends meet. This is a glaring example of how the top 1% continues to unabashedly exacerbate income inequality in our society.
In Unity,
Jim
