This fall, the San Diego Community College District launched the San Diego Promise as a pilot program at City, Mesa, and Miramar colleges. The San Diego Promise is an extension of the state and national movement to make community colleges free for deserving students. Based on the overwhelming response, we will soon be sharing news about expansion of the San Diego Promise for the 2017-18 academic year. We sincerely appreciate everyone who has contributed to the successful launch of this program, including many District employees who have personally contributed through payroll deduction.
