Dear Colleagues,

Attached please find the San Diego Labor Council’s election recommendations for the upcoming primary election, which include all of our local Board of Trustee races. If a race is not listed, it is because we have not taken a position in that race (we’re not keeping any secrets-promise).

The Registrar of Voters has begun mailing ballots to the address of registration for all registered voters this week. Included will be a postage paid return envelope and an “I Voted” sticker.

Complete your ballot in the comfort of your home. Sign your return envelope, seal your ballot inside, and return it through the U.S. Postal Service or at any of the Registrar’s official ballot drop box locations. Your signature on your return envelope is required for your vote to count.

If you prefer to vote in person you can visit any Vote Center in San Diego County. Starting Saturday, May 28, select Vote Centers will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Then starting Saturday, June 4 all 219 Vote Centers will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. All Vote Centers will again be open Election Day, June 7, when the voting hours change to 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

A complete list of Ballot Drop Box and Vote Center locations can be found in your voter information pamphlet. You may also find a locator map and more information about the election on the RoV website at www.sdvote.com.
