The AFT Guild’s Retiree Chapter invites you to participate in a special zoom presentation by a representative of the League of Women Voters about the California ballot measures which are on the General Election ballot for November 5.
The specifics for this informative session are as follows:
When: Tuesday, October 8, 2024 – 3:00 – 4:30P
Where: Via Zoom
What: The League of Women Voters will present a non-partisan, unbiased evaluation of the November 2024 state ballot propositions and measures. The speaker will address each proposition/measure, explaining what changes each proposes and how each would change existing law, who would benefit from each, the cost involved in implementation of each and who would pay for it, as well as identifying the groups endorsing and opposing each measure and the contributors respectively supporting and opposing the propositions.
