California State Budget Fight Campaign TAKE A NIGHT TO PHONE BANK TO SAVE JOBS & SERVICES Stop the Cuts – Fight for JOBS, JOBS, JOBS! The target date for a new state budget is June 15th. In order to stave off even more devastating cuts to jobs, schools, public safety and vital programs, we need two Republicans in both the State Senate and Assembly to vote for a new fair budget that extends current revenues. Starting next week, it’s “All Hands on Deck” to reach out to voters in key Republican-held districts in the Central Valley, Inland Empire and Orange County. We are letting the voters in these districts know the extent of the cuts and exactly what’s at stake, and we’re asking them to call their Legislators and urge them to support a fair budget.
