Dear CCSF Community,
I am extremely pleased to announce that the ACCJC has reaffirmed the College’s accreditation for 7 years. This confirmation is a major accomplishment. It is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the entire City College community who came together to meet – and even exceed – the standards of our accreditors. Congratulations!
This would not have been possible without each and every one of you. I especially appreciate the leadership within the Academic Senate, the Classified Senate, the Associated Students, the Department Chair Council, AFT 2121, SEIU 1021, the administrators, and the Board of Trustees who stepped up to ensure such a positive outcome. I would also like you to join me in thanking Kristin Charles, our Accreditation Liaison Officer, and Judy Seto, Senior Management Assistant in Institutional Development, for coordinating the Self Evaluation and Team Visit.
