Dear AFT Guild Members,
Are you interested in honing your leadership skills?
We have 13 spots remaining in AFT’s Leadership 101. This co-hort development model will help you identify your personal values and learn how to put them into practice on campus. You will also learn about leadership styles and discover how you can utilize your own style and when to employ a different style. You will discover your communication style and practice navigating disagreements and conflicts. And when conflicts inevitable arise, you will learn how you can lead restoratively by using principles and practices of restorative justice.
If this is something you are interested in, we’d love to work with you! You must commit to attending all of the following events:
- Leading with our Values: Friday, October 20, 12:00 – 3:00
- Leading with our Styles: Friday, February 9, 12:00 – 3:00
- Interpersonal Communication & Conflict: Friday, March 15, 9:00 – 12:00
