If you’re looking for a nice, scenic walk to participate in over spring break, please see the message below from our Retiree Chapter regarding a walk they are sponsoring tomorrow. You must be an AFT Guild member and fully vaccinated with booster to attend.

Dear AFT Retiree Chapter Members,
Next Wednesday we are taking an easy, flat walk along the shoreline at Sunset Cliffs. The walk is approximately 3 miles or longer, if desired. The details are listed below:
What: Walk at Sunset Cliffs
When: Wednesday, March 30th at 9:00AM
Where: 1253 Sunset Cliffs Blvd. San Diego, CA 92107
Bring: Sturdy shoes, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, water, and a snack.
Bathrooms: There are port-a-potties available.
Directions: Take 8 West toward the beaches, stay in the left lanes, exit at Sunset Cliffs Blvd. Follow Sunset Cliffs Blvd. to the end where it turns left into Ladera Street. You can’t miss the parking lot for the Sunset Cliffs Natural Park.
Everyone should be fully vaccinated and had their booster. Each participate will need to complete the attached Liability Waiver Form. There are two ways to submit the form. You can email Anita Martinez at anitamartinez@icloud.com and let her know that you are in agreement with the waiver form below and that will take the place of your signature or you can complete the waiver form below and email it to Anita Martinez.
