Dear AFT Guild Member:
The 82nd Biennial Convention of the American Federation of Teachers will be held at the Cobo Center, in Detroit, MI, commencing Friday, July 27th, continuing through Sunday, July 29th, 2012.
All AFT Guild members in good standing are eligible to be nominated as a delegate to the convention. To be nominated, you will need to solicit the signatures of ten (10) other AFT members. A nominating petition is attached. It must be completed and mailed or faxed (619-640-1154) to the AFT office no later than 12:00 noon, Thursday, May 31st, 2012.
