Dear AFT Guild Members,
I hope you all had a great Labor Day Weekend! It was great seeing many of you at the demonstration downtown yesterday!
Just a friendly reminder that our next AFT Guild Union meeting will be held this Thursday, September 4th beginning at 3:00pm at our North City Campus meeting location: North City Campus, 8355 Aero Dr., San Diego, 92123. There is ample parking in the parking structure adjacent to the building, on the south side. We will meet in rooms 101/102, right next to the lobby at the main entrance.
We will also be having a Zoom webinar option where you will be able to listen in to the meeting.
Attached is the tentative agenda for this Thursday’s meeting. We will be voting on the following items:
a) AFT Guild 2025-26 FY Budget
b) $5,000 COPE Expenditure for Sponsorship of the SD Dems County Convention
c) Review of AFT Guild Conflict of Interest and Whistleblower Policies
Please let me know if you have any items you would like to see added to the agenda.
After the meeting we will meet up for our “after party” at Casa Machado 3750 John J Montgomery Dr, San Diego, CA 92123. All Guild members are welcome to join us!
