Dear AFT Guild Members,
Our next AFT Guild Union meeting will be held this Thursday, November 2nd beginning at 3:00pm at Miramar College in Building K-1, Rooms K-106/107 (campus map). The best way to enter the college is off Black Mountain Rd., and then park in Lot 2.
We will also be having a Zoom webinar option where you will be able to listen to the meeting, ask questions in the chat, and vote. Click here for the Zoom link.
Attached is the tentative agenda for this Thursday’s meeting. We will be voting on the following items:
• COPE Donation of $5,500 in support of Chris Ward for Assembly, District 78
• COPE Donation of $5,500 in support of LaShae Sharp-Collins for Assembly, District 79
and hearing a presentation from Stephen Russell regarding an upcoming ballot initiative to create Affordable Homes for San Diegans.
And if that’s not enough fun for one afternoon, we will also be having a face painting/costume contest in recognition of Día de los Muertos, and we will also have a photo booth with many props!

Lastly, we will be having a post-meeting get together at: White Labs Brewing Co., 9495 Candida St, San Diego. They have other food and drink options available as well. Please join us if you can (costumes optional)!
