Dear AFT Guild Members,
Just a friendly reminder that our next AFT Guild Union meeting will be held this Thursday, December 5th beginning at 3:00pm at City College, in the MS building which is on the corner of 16th and C Streets downtown. There is a parking structure in the building. We will meet in room MS-140.
Please consider bringing an unwrapped gift for the Labor Council toy drive to donate to a child of an unemployed/underemployed union member. Gifts for all ages are needed.
We will also be having a Zoom webinar option where you will be able to listen in to the meeting.
Attached is the tentative agenda for this Thursday’s meeting. We will be voting on the following items:
a) $1,000 Donation to AFT Guild Student Interns (whose apartment burned down)
b) $5,500 COPE Donation to Nelson Esparza, CA Senate District 14, 2026 Primary
Please let me know if you have any items you would like to see added to the agenda.
After the meeting we will meet up for our “after party” at Knotty Barrel Gastro Pub (844 Market Street, San Diego, CA 92101). All Guild members are welcome to join us!
