Dear AFT Guild Members,
We invite you to join us for a family day at the zoo! Explore, adventure, share some delicious BBQ and enjoy time with loved ones. Purchase your tickets for only $20/person no later than Wednesday, October 16th!
Quick Q&A’s:
1. If you already have annual passes, they will not work for this event. You will need to purchase a ticket to attend our luncheon.
2. Be sure to purchase the correct number of adult and children’s tickets for your party. That’s you and and up to 5 guests! However, please note that guests of members must not otherwise be eligible for AFT Guild membership (like your family members or friends who aren’t in one of our bargaining units). If they are in one of our bargaining units, they need to be a member.
3. The San Diego Zoo requires physical tickets for entrance. All tickets must be picked up at the AFT Office before Friday, November 1st at Noon. Tickets will be available for pickup starting Monday 10/21 from 8:30am-5pm (8:30am-1pm on 11/01) at the AFT Office at 3737 Camino del Rio South, Suite 410, San Diego 92128 (in the United Labor Center Building). Call 619-640-1155 if you get lost!
4. Your ticket will get you into our Family Zoo Day on 11/02 AND will also allow you access to the Safari Park between 11/03-12/01. Be sure to hang on to your tickets!
5. Our family picnic and BBQ will be held at the Zoofari Party Area between 11am-2pm. Food will be served between 12pm-1:30pm (gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options will be provided). The Zoofari Party area has very little, if any, umbrella coverage so plan to bring hats, sunscreen etc. for your comfort.
