AFT Adjunct Faculty Committee

Dear AFT Guild Adjunct Faculty Members,

Your AFT Guild is forming an adjunct faculty committee to address the challenges that face adjunct faculty to improve not only their working conditions, but as a result, the working environment for all faculty and staff, and the learning community for our students.  The committee will be chaired by Geoff Johnson, adjunct professor of English at Mesa College.

The goal of this committee is to bring together adjunct AFT Guild faculty members from all areas within our membership to develop constructive strategies involving organizing, advocacy, and legislative action, in addition to coordinating with other unions and labor/progressive organizations interested in fighting the expansion of contingent labor in general.
