Dear AFT Guild Members, Friends, and Family Members,
I am pleased to report that our opportunities for participation in our Get Out The Vote letter writing campaign have dramatically expanded! We now have several options for you to make a difference in this critical election simply by volunteering just one hour of your time! We will continue our focus on turning out low propensity swing state voters as this singular action can indeed make a difference in this year’s election.
Option #1: Wednesdays, 12:00-3:00pm, August 28th, September 11th, & 25th. Locations vary between AFT Office and North City Campus. Please click here to RSVP for one (or more) of these dates.
Option #2: Tuesdays, 4:00pm-7:00pm, September 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, all at the AFT Office, 3737 Camino del Rio S., Ste. 410. Please click here to RSVP for one (or more) of these dates.
Option #3: Stop by any time, M-F, 8:00-5:00, and pick up a packet of 20 names/addresses at the AFT Office for you to either do in the office or take home and return. Please call Greg at the AFT office (619-640-1155) and make an appointment to pick up your materials.
We’ll provide letter templates and writing supplies. You just need to supply a strong wrist! We’ll also have great food to power your active participation!
You may also bring adult family members and friends to participate in this effort.
