2018 CFT Convention

Dear AFT Guild Members:
The 76th Annual Convention of the California Federation of Teachers will be held at the Hilton Orange County/Costa Mesa commencing Friday, March 23rd, 2018 at 10:00 AM and continuing through Sunday, March 25th, 2018 until 1:00 PM.
All AFT Guild members in good standing are eligible to be nominated to serve as a delegate to the convention. To be nominated, you will need to solicit the signatures of ten (10) other AFT Guild members in good standing. A nominating petition is attached. It must be completed and mailed or faxed (619-640-1154) to the AFT Guild office and received no later than 4:00pm, Wednesday, March 7th, 2018.
You are responsible for booking and paying for your own travel, meals, and hotel reservations. District travel funds, subject to your site’s approval process, may be used to cover all or part of these costs.
Be sure to complete your committee choice selection no later than March 9th. For more information regarding the CFT Convention program, please visit cft.org/convention-2018.
