Dear AFT Guild Members:
The 75th Annual Convention of the California Federation of Teachers will be held at the Sheraton Grand Sacramento, commencing Friday, March 31st, 2017 at 10:00 AM and continuing through Sunday, April 2nd, 2017 until 1:00 PM.
All AFT Guild members in good standing are eligible to be nominated to serve as a delegate to the convention. To be nominated, you will need to solicit the signatures of ten (10) other AFT Guild members in good standing. A nominating petition is attached. It must be completed and mailed or faxed (619-640-1154) to the AFT Guild office and received no later than 4:00pm, Wednesday, March 15th, 2017.
You are responsible for booking your own airfare and hotel reservations. The attached nominating petitions describes the Guild’s reimbursement policy for delegates.
Be sure to complete your committee choice selection no later than March 17th. For more information regarding the CFT Convention program, please visit cft.org/governance/convention.
