Dear SDCCD College Faculty,
We have been working with the District regarding the institution of a permanent five-pay unit pay schedule for full semester adjunct/overload courses, regardless of the start date of the course.
We have also revised the pay schedule for shorter term courses based on the premise that your first paycheck should always be on the 10th of the month following the start of your adjunct or overload assignment.
I have attached a sample of this methodology for your review based on the current spring semester instructional session dates.
Please take the time to look it over and let me know if you see any short comings or iterations we may have missed. Our plan is to implement this type of payment schedule no later than Fall 2013.
