SanDiego350 will be holding a fundraiser to support our work on public education, outreach, policy advocacy, rallies, and coalition building on a host of climate-related issues. Specifically we’ll be looking to hire several interns in 2015 to support the work of all the amazing volunteers who make this organization run.
350.org co-founder Bill McKibben will join us to talk about the global climate movement, its amazing progress and its challenges, and how local organizations like SanDiego350 can build momentum toward national and global climate action. We’ll also hear from Councilman David Alvarez who has been a wonderful champion for a strong climate action plan in San Diego.
