Dear AFT Guild Members,
Our last Union meeting of this academic year will be held this Thursday, May 7th, beginning at 3:00pm on the rooftop of the Harbor View Campus. (It’s supposed to be 70º and sunny on Thursday, but it can be windy so bundle up!)
The address is 1901 Main Street and there are two levels of parking inside the building. It’s a little tricky to find the entrance from the street if you have never been there before. (See the attached photo below–enter the parking structure where the yellow star is.) Once you park, take the elevator up to the third floor, and then follow the signs to the roof entrance. (Unfortunately, due to technical challenges, we will not be able to provide a Zoom connection for this meeting.)
Attached is the tentative agenda for this Thursday’s meeting. We will be voting on the following items:
a) COPE Expenditure: $30,000 to support GCCCD November Bond Campaign
Please let me know if you have any items you would like to see added to the agenda.
After the meeting we will meet up for our “after party” at: Maggie’s Café, 1985 National Ave, Suite 1129, San Diego, CA 92113. All Guild members are welcome to join us!
