Dear Colleagues,
Grossmont College will be hosting the Labor Council Community Food Distribution event in partnership with Feeding San Diego on Saturday, March 13th.
This event will be the first for East County, and there is a plan to distribute food to 500 East County community families.
We need at least 50 volunteers to ensure this event is a success.
The preparation for food distribution begins at about 6:30am with packing boxes, but most volunteers will need to arrive by 7:30 with distribution to families taking place beginning at 9:00am.
