Dear AFT Guild Members,
Unfortunately, we need to reschedule our upcoming AFT Guild Union meeting originally scheduled for February 4th to February 11th due to the SDCCD Board of Trustee selection process happening at the same time as our previously scheduled Union meeting.
There is currently a vacancy on the SDCCD Board which will be filled by appointment of the remaining four Trustees.
This Thursday, February 4th, beginning at 1:00pm each candidate will be allowed to read a statement regarding why they are the best qualified to serve on the Board. Then the current Board members will ask questions of each candidate. At the conclusion of the Q&A the Board will adjourn without taking a vote until their February 8th meeting.

At the conclusion of that meeting, we will convene on Zoom to debate and discuss the candidates and make an endorsement. Our Zoom meeting (open only to AFT Guild members) will begin 15 minutes after the SDCCD Board meeting adjourns. (Zoom info. at the end of this email.)
