Dear Colleagues,
Thank you to everyone who came out for our sign making party over the weekend regarding this Wednesday’s National Adjunct Action Day. Look for our signs at the rallies on Wednesday. Speaking of rallies on Wednesday, February 25, here is another reminder about when and where they are located:
• 12:00-1:00 at City College in Gorton Quad
• 12:00-1:00 at Mesa College outside the LRC
• 2:00-3:00 at Grossmont College outside the LTRC
• 4:00-6:15 there will be an Adjunct Appreciation Party at Miramar in room K-107. Pizza and refreshments will be served.
***Please consider bringing your students if you are in class during that time, and encouraging your students to attend for those students not in class at that time.***
We will also be tabling all week from 10:00-2:00:
At City outside the AH building
At Mesa outside H-117/118
At Grossmont outside Griffin Gate
At the tables we will have letters for you to sign and mail to the Governor asking for more money for adjuncts and adjunct needs. If you can’t make it to one of the tables, you can find sample letters and addresses at:
