Dear Colleagues,

Your AFT is proud to support the students' rally against budget cuts and class cuts, tomorrow, September 9th, beginning at 1:00PM, at Park Blvd. and A St. in front of San Diego City College.  Come on out and show your solidarity with our students and let Sacramento know that we will not sit back and allow the social contract of the state of California to be destroyed before our eyes.  Ever increasing tuition increases and never-ending, devastating rounds of cuts to education threaten our students' future, the future of our profession, and the future of the state. 

Accessible, affordable higher education should be a right and not a privilege!
