Dear Colleagues,
The outside signature verification firm we use to verify the petitions has extended our deadline for submission to April 15th. That gives you 10 mores days to collect more signatures!
Sadly we are a far cry from everyone gathering just six signatures, so I hope that this extra time allows everyone to play a small part in ensuring our current funding level from Proposition 30 is not cut.
If you need more petitions, or if you need a class set, please call the AFT office at 619-640-1155 and let them know how many you need and we will get them out to you right away. Any registered voter, including students, can sign a petition.
We are really counting on everyone participating in this simple exercise. Completed petitions can be sent via District mail to AFT.
