Please join us at the 5:30 p.m. meeting and bring your friends and family.

Let’s pack the house and send the message that no one who works full-time should live in poverty!

On July 1 Rabbi Laurie Coskey and Audrey Hiatt, from the Interfaith Center for Worker Justice, asked the San Diego City Council that very question. They delivered a mock minimum wage paycheck to each member of the City Council and showed how fast wages disappear each month for basic necessities.
Even working full-time at a minimum wage job, it’s impossible to live in San Diego without public or private assistance.WatchPaycheckSpeech.png
