The 84th Biennial Convention of the American Federation of Teachers will be held at the Minneapolis Convention Center, commencing Monday, July 18th, continuing through Thursday, July 21st, 2016.
All AFT Guild members in good standing are eligible to be nominated as a delegate to the convention. To be nominated, you will need to solicit the signatures of ten (10) other AFT members. A nominating petition is attached. It must be received in the AFT office: 3737 Camino del Rio South, Suite 410, San Diego, CA 92108 (fax: 619-640-1154) no later than 12:00 noon, Thursday, May 19th, 2016.
