Dear AFT Guild Members:
The 74th Annual Convention of the California Federation of Teachers will be held at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco commencing Friday, March 11th, 2016 at 10:00 AM and continuing through Sunday, March 13th, 2016 until 1:00 PM.
All AFT Guild members in good standing are eligible to be nominated to serve as a delegate to the convention. To be nominated, you will need to solicit the signatures of ten (10) other AFT Guild members in good standing. A nominating petition is attached. It must be completed and mailed or faxed (619-640-1154) to the AFT Guild office and received no later than 4:00pm, Wednesday, February 24th, 2016.
You will need to book your own airfare and make your own hotel reservation no later than February 20th. The attached nominating petitions describes the items the Guild will be reimbursing delegates for.
