 I am a Personal Development Counseling (PDC) instructor and sometimes Counselor.  I have worked with the Basic Skills Initiative, CalWORKS and DSPS as a Counselor and also work in the Financial Aid Office.

As an adjunct, it often hard to have hobbies and interests outside of work since it feels like I'm always working, but when I have time I love to attend as many sunny San Diego events as possible, run/walk/bike along the beach, try ANY new food at least once (I really do consider eating a hobby!) and travel the world.  I've been to approximately 15 countries and this Christmas I will be traveling to Vietnam for a few weeks.

My heroes are Ray Reyes (my boss), Greg Mortenson (author of 3 Cups of Tea) and Barack Obama (in no particular order).  They inspire me on a daily basis to honor my truth even if it isn't the mainstream belief.
